Next week, the Jewelry Making and Wire Wrapping SIG (Special Interest Group) will be having one final class for the year*
Deb Delvaux will be teaching us how to make these fun and festive candy cane earrings–so sweet for the holidays!

Please note the special date due to the Thanksgiving holiday this week.
When: Thursday, December 2 at 6:00-7:30pm*
Where: The class will be held in the card room at Sea Breeze. The card room is adjacent to the workshop room.
What to Bring
Bring: To make the Candy Cane earrings shown:
- 2 ear wires
- 2 pieces of 20 or 22 gauge wire about 5 inches long
- 4 jump rings 4mm in size.
- Red and white beads, either 6/0 seed beads or 4 mm beads.
Tools Needed:
- Round nose pliers
- Chain nose pliers
- Square nose pliers
- Nylon jaw pliers
- The club has some tools to use if you don’t have these.
As part of this class, Deb will teach how to make a head pin out of a piece of wire. This is necessary because most head pins are 2 inches long, but we need a longer one for this earring.
Limited Kits Available
Can’t get the materials? Deb will have a few kits available for sale for $1
She will also have some kits for sale with other Christmas themes, for $1 or $2 each if you are interested. See last year’s class notice for pictures of what was created then.
Business Meeting
*The Club’s monthly business meeting will start at 7:30 so this class will be short and sweet. We must be cleaned up by 7:30.
