Field Trip to the Florida Museum

Florida Museum Butterfly Rainforest Exhibit

The next field trip for The Villages Gem & Mineral Society is on! Join us as we venture to the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville (click on the link to learn more about the various collections and exhibits you can see) on Wednesday, March 29.

Whether you want to check out the Butterfly Rainforest, Spiders Alive, see the Inner Beauty Exhibit, or fossils, or…whew…there is something for everybody!

Inner Beauty exhibit at Florida Museum

This will be an all day field trip, so bring a picnic lunch, which you can leave in a cooler in your car until the group breaks for lunch. Judy is providing a surprise dessert at the picnic–yum! So if you are planning on attending and enjoying dessert, let her know that you will be there.
